World Water Week in Stockholm, Sweden, 21-27 August 2011

Attracting 2,600 participants coming from 130 countries in 2010, the World Water Week is the leading international annual water networking event. It presents a comprehensive agenda of workshops, seminars and side events, complemented by prize ceremonies, including that of the prestigious Stockholm Water Prize.

Global Training Programme in Integrated Water Resources Management in Sweden and Lao PDR
SIWI and Ramboll Natura with funding from Sida, will provide a two part International Training Program in Transboundary Water Management that will take place in Sweden from August 10 – September 1, 2009 and in Lao PDR, November 30 – December 11, 2009.
The programme in Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) supports and stimulate the development of IWRM in our participants’ home countries and encourages them to involve in and contribute to networking on IWRM. The programme strives to create an active and strong link to our participants’ professional area and strengthen the professional exchange between participants with different professional and geographical backgrounds.
The Application should be submitted to the appropriate Swedish Embassy/ Consulate before March 13, 2009.
